GPW Questionnaire – Frequently Asked Questions

Research Project Title:  Global Peace Workshop  (GPW) Impact Questionnaire

What is the research about?
We are trying to find out the impact that GPW had on the participants in the last 3 year.

Who is the research funded by?
The Centre for Trust, Peace and Peaceful Relations ( CTPSR )

Why have I been chosen to participate?
You have been chosen to participate in this questionnaire because you were a participant to one or more GPW.

What do I have to do if I agree to participate?
We kindly ask you to fill out the questionnaire as truthful as possible.

How will you use the data that I provide?
The findings of this questionnaire will be used to understand if and what kind of impact that GPW generated. Also the data collected will be used to create a report about the GPW series.

Will the data be protected and my confidentiality ensured?
Your personal details and any identifying factors will be anonymised.  And the questionnaire will be stored in a secured, password protected database.

What are the risks associated with this project?
We will take all the precautions to protect your personal information.

What are the benefits of participating?
You will be contributing to our understanding of how GPW serious can benefit the participants and stake holders’ peacebuilding or peace education progress.

Also you will have an opportunity to have their experiences heard at the GPW2016 and join  GPW Youth Network.

 What happens if I don’t want to take part?
Your decisions not to take part will not influence your relationship with CTPSR or GPW attendants in any way.

What happens if I want to withdraw?
Up to two months after completion of this survey you can have your questionnaire pull out of the research.
